The Transport Accident Commission has unveiled the winners of Make a Film, Make a Difference Film ? a film-making competition to encourage young people to stay safe on Victoria?s roads.
A hip-hop video and a short, emotive film won the competition.
Both films were tasked to tackle the theme ?a party in the car? on the back of research that found that young people are easily distracted when travelling with passengers.
25 year-old Jordan Weizman?s hip-hop video The Deso took a look at designated drivers ? or ?desos?.
24 year-old Jonathan Burton?s ?Yes Mum? features a boy taking a phone call from his mother while in a car full of partying friends.
The films will be shown at cinemas, on MTV, Channel 11, at www.mafmad.com.au and on the MAFMAD Facebook page.
